Stolen wallet won’t dampen a good time

A Glenrock man didn’t let a stolen wallet ruin his good time.

The man’s wallet was stolen Wednesday night at Bryan’s Place, a strip club near Rozet.

He told deputies a blonde dancer with braces must have taken his wallet while giving him a lap dance. The wallet later was found beneath a sofa cushion, but $200 was missing, Campbell County Undersheriff Scott Matheny said.

But after realizing his wallet had been stolen, the 31-year old man stayed at the strip club and had another lap dance, Matheny said.

I think it’s time to just shake your head and say, “Huh?”

At 10 a.m. Tuesday, Wal-Mart employees were alerted to a white van parked in the store’s lot. Inside were five unattended children, whose ages ranged from 7 months to 6 years old. The employees wound up spending almost half an hour with the kids, before their 25-year-old mother returned from the store. She said she wasn’t aware that it was dangerous to leave children locked in a van, Police Detective Gary Owens said. The case has been referred to the Department of Family Services.
