God loved the world so that He gave

\nThat all who would in Him believe

Christ Jesus is the ground of faith,

\nAll then who trust in Him alone
\nAre built on this chief cornerstone.<\/p>\n
God would not have the sinner die;
\nHis Son with saving grace is nigh;
\nHis Spirit in the Word declares
\nHow we in Christ are heaven’s heirs.<\/p>\n
Be of good cheer, for God’s own Son
\nForgives all sins which you have done;
\nAnd, justified by Jesus’ blood,
\nYour Baptism grants the highest good.<\/p>\n
If you are sick, if death is near,
\nThis truth your troubled heart can cheer:
\nChrist Jesus saves your soul from death;
