Wesley got a Radio Flyer wagon from his grandma for Christmas.  We had decided since Gillette was covered with snow, we would just wait until the spring to put it together and for him to try it out.  Gwen said she wanted to take a walk since it was fairly decent here.  She thought it would be a good idea to take him out in the wagon.  I put it together, but it took a few to do it.  By the time it was together, we went walking, but the sun had set and it was getting a little chilly.  Regardless, we went walking.  Here’s Wesley as the king of the hill.

Here’s the latest video of my little guy.  He’s 17 months now and not so little.  When he first got this horse over the summer, he still wasn’t able to balance himself on it.  Now, he’s a real cowboy!

One day when Gwen was at K-Mart, she saw this slide for Wesley.  The next day when she took me to see it, it was gone.  After some checking, she found it at Walmart.

Wesley was a little cranky today; he gave Gwen a run for her money.  After dinner, it was 6:40, still at least an hour before Wesley could go to bed.  We decided to go to the park, one of the few parks in town where we could actually find infant swings.  Here’s a pic of him in the swing:

He also liked to go down the slide.

So Wesley has managed to stand up with the assistance of the baby gate or the crib. Every morning when he wakes up, he’s jabbering along and standing straight up. Not only that, he’s started to gnaw on his crib; so much that he’s put teeth marks into it. Since the crib rail curves, you can’t put the traditional plastic crib guard on it (not like you could even get that in Gillette anyways), so my wife had to get creative. This hopefully will help deter Wesley from gnawing on the bed.
